Karnataka has arisen as the best state and is positioned number one in building up health and wellness focuses (HWC) under the Ayushman Bharat Program, to give extensive essential medical services in rustic zones, the state's Health and Family government assistance office said on Tuesday. The state leads in carrying out the venture for the year 2020-21, the office said in an articulation. It said the association government had set an objective of setting up 2,263 HWC sub-focuses, and the state has updated 3,300 focuses till March 31, which is 146% more than the set objective. The Center had likewise given the objective of updating 2,096 PHCs to HWCs, 2,168 have been overhauled so far which is 103% more than the set objective, it further said.
