Legal experts Tuesday named the bill acquainted in the Lok Sabha with stretch out reservation to financially in reverse areas in the overall class, as “unlawful” and a “political weapon” which is probably going to be “challenged in the court of law”.

The bill tries to correct the Constitution to give a 10% reservation in occupations and instructive foundations to financially in reverse areas in the overall class.

While Dwivedi said the move was a political decision trick, Dhavan communicated his solid resistance by naming the bill as “unconstitutional”.

As people gear up to welcome   2021 , the   Mumbai   police   on Wednesday announced a slew of restrictions on gatherings and celebrations on   New Year's eve   in the wake of the   COVID-19   pandemic . In a press release issued late in the night, the police pointed out that the Maharashtra government has already issued guidelines related to New Year's eve and called for low-key celebrations. A night curfew is in place, prohibiting the gathering of five or more persons between 11 pm and 6 am, it said.
