The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide a $231 mn loans to enhance power generation capacity in AssamUSD

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will give a USD 231-million advance to increase power age limit in Assam through the development of a 120-megawatt (MW) hydroelectric force plant.


ADB and the Government of India consented to the credit arrangement on Wednesday.


This is the third tranche credit for the continuous Assam Power Sector Investment Program, which was affirmed by the ADB Board in July 2014.
