Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday salutes IAF on the 2nd anniversary of Balakot airstrikes

 On the second commemoration of Balakot air strikes, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday saluted the outstanding boldness and determination of the Indian Air Force (IAF) and said "the achievement of strikes has shown India's solid will to act against psychological oppression".


"On the commemoration of Balakot Air Strikes, I salute the excellent mental fortitude and determination of the Indian Air Force. The accomplishment of Balakot strikes has shown India's solid will to act against illegal intimidation. We are pleased with our Armed Forces who keep India free from any danger," the Defense Minister tweeted.


On February 14, Pakistan-based fear outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) directed a CRPF caravan on the Jammu-Srinagar parkway close to Pulwama in South Kashmir executing 40 CPRF faculty.


Days after the fact IAF dispatched an air-strike on a JeM camp in Balakot in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.


The air-strike was dispatched in the early long periods of February 26 and Pakistan's endeavors to dispatch a hostile the following day to target Indian army bases in Jammu and Kashmir was impeded by an alarm IAF.
