Assam's CM speaks with PM Modi, who assures that all help will be provided

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday known as Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to enquire about the flood scenario in the country and assured all viable help.


"Adarniya Pradhan Mantri Narendra Modi telephoned today to investigate about flood situation and confident all assist to Assam to combat this threat. Current flood has gravely impacted the livelihoods of humans. My gratitude to Adarniya Modi Ji for standing with us at this hour of crisis," Sarma tweeted.



As many as 950 villages in 21 districts of Assam were affected because of floods, revealed Flood Reporting and Information Management System (FRIMS).


As in step with the record of FRIMS released by Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) on August 30, as many as 950 villages in 21 districts of Assam that inhabit three,63,135 human beings had been affected due to floods inside the kingdom.


The record also revealed that forty four remedy centres that consist of sixteen remedy camps and 28 alleviation distribution centres had been opened in the nation to help the flood sufferers.


A total of 1,619 humans have taken shelter in those comfort camps, stated the record.
